Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart. - Steve Jobs

Sunset

Jake & I decided to take a walk around our hotel to enjoy our last sunset in Hawaii.
We stayed at the Ilikai next to the Hilton. The Hilton costs about 4-500 hundred a night. We certainly didn't stay there, but we got to enjoy all of the Hilton's built in scenary. All of the following pictures are taken in our back yard and were provided to use by the Hilton Hawaiian Village.
They had random animals everywhere that were just hanging out without cages or restraints.
Our favorites were the turtles. They like to climb up this rock and then jump off of it into the water.

We were forced to walk past these buildings and waterfalls daily. It was such a trial.

Here's a little restaurant where you can enjoy waterfalls, a view of the beach, & burgers for $25 dollars.
Here is a little Lagoon that is created during winter from the high tide. The Hilton put in pumps that keep the water a gorgeous blue. There is a rock island with a water fall in the middle that you can swim to or kyak around.

Rock island.

Each night a man runs around in his lava lava and lights tiki torches all over Waikiki beach.

To get to the beach all we had to do was walk out of the back side of our hotel, past this marina and we were at the beach.
A view of the hotel we stayed in. On side you get the gorgeous beach and on the other side you get construction and traffic.
It was so hard to say goodbye to the island on the last day. I felt the sadness sinking in as we went around and said goodbye.

Aloha Hawaii.
