Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart. - Steve Jobs

Valley of the Temples

Jake and I stopped by a cemetary called the Valley of the Temples. There is an actual cemetary when you come in. You can drive around inside of the cemetary and there are various temples on the grounds. The most famous temple is the Buddhist temple that was built at the base of the mountains. It is one of the most beautiful buildings that I have ever seen. Here's how it works. Pay $2.00 to get in & visit the site. Cross a bridge.
Stand in awe and take pictures
More awe.
Approach and ring giant gong/bell before entering the temple.

Take shoes off before entering the temple.

Light a candle or inscence when you enter the temple.

Stand in awe of giant Buddha.

Take more pictures of everything then you'll ever need.

Try to break into the back to see the small Buddha that they talk about at the front of the building. No luck.

Have an incredibly peacefull and sacred experience followed by a visit to the gift shop.
